Nneka @ the House of Blues in Houston

You probably don't remember where you were the first time that you heard the song "Heartbeat" but from the onset you would know that you were witness to a rare talent. Her sound, her lyrics and the raw emotion that she effortlessly communicated with her voice...but that was in 2010. I knew she was good but only time tells where the music world will take your career so when we heard she was coming to town, we just had to check it out. Disappointed...? NOT THE SLIGHTEST BIT
Nneka is phenomenal. Her voice is beautiful and soultry. Her command of the stage and interaction with the audience  refreshing. She was at the House of Blues in Downtown Houston on March 18th as one stop of her North American tour.
